The Making of a Harp Guitar
Andy Vincens was a student in the second steelstring construction class given at the school almost six years ago. He contacted me early last fall and asked if I could do a tutorial with him.
"What kind of instrument do you want to build?" I asked.
"A Dyer harp guitar," he said.
"Have you taken leave of your senses?" I said.
"Why, do you think it's too much?"
The project turned out to be really interesting and fun. Here are some pictures which will give you some idea what is entailed and what the thing looks like so far.
