Arched Top |
|
Built in the Nickerson style this
seventeen-inch arched top is available in maple with sitka or engleman
spruce tops. Back and sides are available in various grades of maple.
The top bracing of this guitar is based on a single diagonal bracing
pattern found in mid range Stromberg guitars of the mid- and late
1930s. there is a leg which runs from the diagonal under the treble
foot of the bridge. This gives the treble range a depth of tonality and
a clarity not often found in carved top guitars. The solo voice of this
guitar is extraordinary.
Archedtop guitars are available in clear, tinted and sunburst
nitrocellulose lacquer finishes. Hardware include wood or metal
tailpieces.
